Ghost Mannequin Tutorial

I’ve had a lot of requests over the years to do what’s commonly called the “Ghost Manequin” effect in Photoshop for various clothing retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. It’s an easy trick that makes an article of clothing look like it’s being worn by an invisible person.

Two photographs are taken of the article of clothing. One is the front of the garment while placed on a mannequin or model. The second is of the back of the garment but placed on the model INSIDE OUT!!

Hope you’ve found this useful, and feel free to leave a comment if you have anything to add.
